Dora and Diego Gymnastics Camp

Today Sophia, Whitney and I went to a Dora and Diego gymnastics camp. Sophia was the gymnast and I helped her with some of it. Sophia had so much fun. She is not around a bunch of two and three year Olds very often so it was great to see her interact with. Sophia learned how to do a forward roll down a mat. She got to climb through a cool monkey ball that rolls when she goes inside it. She also got to do some activities on the beam and bars. I think her favorite activity was jumping on the trampoline. They also had a snack time and they colored some Dora and Diego pictures. Sophia also got a nice surprise and her dad stopped in to watch her. It helps that the gymnastics place is in the same complex as his work. When we got home Sophia had worked up quite an appetite so we made some apple carrot juice and a pb and j sandwich. Then it was off to nap time. It has been a great day.

Shank You Sunday

Today Taylor had another volleyball tournament. I coach her volleyball team and am quite proud how well the girls are doing. The girls have all improved alot. Taylor amazes me and gets better every week. I am happy to report that we won both of our games. I know winning is not everything, but it sure is nice. Great job Taylor!!!

Tuesday March 3rd

Today Sophia and I decided to make our first loaf of bread. My mom gave me her bread maker so we thought we would try it out. Thanks Mom!! Sophia enjoys pouring in the ingredients. I just bought a box kit so really there were just a few ingredients, but I didn't want to get to adventurous for the first time. Sophia likes helping me in the kitchen. Since this is my last day off work from my maternity leave I thought we should do something fun. We got lucky and the bread turned out great. Sophia and I are excited to try new bread recipes.

Juicing

We just got the Jack Lalgane juicer and are so excited about it. Sophia loves making juice and I love that it is so good for her. Today she had apple carrot juice. Sounds kind of gross I know, but it is actually very good. I can't wait for the summer to get here so we can go to the farmers market and pick out all different kinds of fruits and vegetables to juice. I figure this will be good for the kids and have them try different fruits and vegetables.

Today we had a nice visit with our friend Gina.. It is always nice to have her over. Sophia wanted to be a big girl and try to wear her new Dora underwear. She had an accident and back in the diaper she went. We will keep working on potty training. Whitney is getting bigger everyday and is really holding her head up well now.

Febuaruy 22

Well I am going to try to start a blog about the family. I am not sure how well I will do at this, but I figure I will give it a whirl. For starters Chad and I have three girls Taylor 10, Sophia 2 and Whitney who is 10 weeks. This is the start of my last week of my maternity leave and will be going back to work part time. I am not looking forward to leaving the girls at the sitter, but I know their babysitter will be great with them. Today Taylor had a volleyball tournament and we won both games. I coach the team and like seeing how much the girls improve week to week. Taylor has gotten really good. Since Taylor and I were gone most of the day Chad had dinner cooking when we got home. I am very blessed because my husband is a good cook. It was to cold to take the little ones out so he stayed home with them. He is also a wonderful father..
